This is the funniest, most entertaining and least patronising tips book I have ever got my hands on! Full of amazing little factlets that I would never have realised and brilliant tips that aren't about to scare or confuse real people! A brilliant, entertaining little read that I read from back to front straight away... but I also know I'll be picking it up in sections to re-read when required for years to come! Couldn't recommend this book more highly! Enjoy... I know I did!!

I received this book as a birthday present and can truly say that I couldn't put it down! Flicking through the pages of this riveting little book is just like sitting down with a well versed best friend, a bottle of chardonnay and having a good giggle about all things between the sheets. It's honest, funny, PACKED full of infomation and is just the right size to keep by your bed! Countless times throughout I squealed YESSSS that someone has finally written a book like this! Yes, sex books are no new revelation but for the first time ever I didn't feel intimidated by all the new things in there, or wonder how the hell I was going to get into some odd tantric postion. In fact, I felt perfectly normal and pretty horny! Couldn't wait to try out my new found expertise. I loved the length of it though and the succinct way Julie talks about each topic - I can't think of anything worse than ploughing through a hefty, rambling book on such a great subject - sex! Instead, every topic has been taken, thought about and then slotted in perfectly so you get to read all the best bits with the rubbish cut out! Straight to the point, incisive, witty and practical. I am buying this book as Christmas stocking fillers for all my girlfriends this year!!
Very informative little book

I was given this for Christmas because I've always liked Julie Peasgood on TV and enjoy the column she writes in Yours magazine. It's well-written and very funny. I was a little shocked at how frank she is, but she is never offensive, and I suupose if you're discussing sex there is no point in being coy!

I have also read Julie Peasgoods columns in both 'Now'and 'Your' magazines these are also well answered and I think helpful. Read it and try it, see how it can change your life
A catalyst for a life change

I loved this book because it arrived in my life at a time when I had pretty much given up on sex after ten years with a lovely man who after the first year of our rampant relationship, had no interest in sex at all. I had come to the conclusion that I could live without it too. Well, I read this book and it woke me up again. Oh no I couldn't!!! I laughed, I cried, I 'oohed' and 'ahhed'! And I decided that love this man as I do, he would have to let me go so I could find someone else to share that side of my life with. He did, and I did, and all has turned out well. Happy me and thank you Julie!!!
Greatest Sex Tips In the World

It was so nice to read a book like this that was informative, sensible and easy to get along with. This is not a book to put on the top shelf away from prying eyes. It shows that sex is not a dirty word and the whole content of this book is centered on safety and fun. There are so many obvious ways to enjoy yourself that you would never think of until you turn the pages. This is a great gift to give to that special person in your life or of course to get for yourself which may mean you might get that special person. Unfortunately i can only give it five stars, it deserves more.

A fantastic and light-hearted read with some tasty little tips to improve your sex-life!! Fantastically written and as much a laugh a minute as a factual tool!! Brilliant!! I read this book with trepidation as wasn't sure what to expect. I was delighted to find that not only was it informative but very funny too and dealt with sexual matters in a lighthearted but responsible way. It has opened my eyes and reawakened my libido.

At last - a book about sex which is frank, explicit, courageous, witty, informative, refreshing and uplifting. This is more than a bloody good read, it has the power to change your life. Over the top I hear you cry? I don't think so. If your sex life improves your health improves - your work improves - your confidence improves - your relationships inprove - your life improves. A great b'day/xmas gift for all your friends, male and female - young and old. I also saw Julie being brilliant on the Alan Titchmarsh show. Please lets see her fronting her own programme - it would be a breath of fresh air.

Julie Peasgood is a new literary delight - her approach is frank, forthright and funny!! This book is a real help - if only we had someone like her around to ask those questions we've never dared! Her style is chatty and open, as if you were talking really honestly with a best friend. I'm only 25 and I really loved being able to learn how to please a partner - and myself - without the embarrassment I would feel talking to a doctor or boyfriend. It is not sleazy a la cosmo but really informative and very amusing as well! I am a big fan of Julie (I loved Emmerdale) and she has such a lovely sunny personality. I would love to see her get her own show of this book so she could answer more questions from guests.

We have passed this little gem round our office and we all agree its a great read. It is informative and the tips actually WORK!! The author explains tricky stuff clearly and helpfully and she has a hilarious way of putting stuff! I would recommend it to anyone and its great value.

I can really recommend this book. It is crammed with great advice but manages to be entertaining too because of being funny (but not tacky) which I liked-I was a bit shocked at her frankness but I think that some pretty taboo subjects are tackled ina refreshing honest way and it doesn't preach.I am now communicating with my partner much better because of it and my 'senses' have really been awakened!

I bought this book as a gift for a friend as a bit of a joke, and much like one of your other customers opened the pages for a sneak preview. I couldn't put it down. It is full of interesting and informative tips, great humour and hilarious illustrations. Although Julie is a serious actress by trade and not a sexpert or indeed a writer she has certainly proved that if you have the intellect, humour and personality then you can successfully try your hand at anything. I personally am a published author and congratualte Julie on her writing skills. A fantastic read and brilliant book - although sex kind of went out the window as I was more interested in reading the book whilst in bed - although now I have finished I think my partner realised that all good things come to those who wait.

Great. A book about sex that is explicit, well written and has a sense of humour - a rare combination. It doesn't pull any punches, but it's not in any way sleazy. Written in a warm, chatty style that makes you feel like she's talking to you - wish she was!

I bought this book after reading a brilliant review on it in Scarlet Magazine and neither me nor my partner have been able to put it down since. It is full of the most amazing (and amusing!) tips and ideas for spicing up your sex life and what a breath of fresh air that it ISN'T written by a 'sexpert', but by a well-loved actress and TV presenter who happens to have a passion for passion! There is so much of Julie's own sex life in this book and good on her for being brave to write in such an frank and informative way with a wonderfully easy style. Can't wait for the hardback version - the paperback won't last much longer!! x
Real advice from a real woman!

I really thought this book was informative and interesting - you will certainly find out things you never knew!!! The format is refreshingly different from the bog standard sex books on the market, and one of its biggest pluses is that it is something you can sit down and read with your other half. Not only are there some great things to try but it is delivered in a friendly way. Some things that will make you laugh, some that will make you go "oooohhhhhh!" ;-) Definitely a book for the bedside table, and would make a great gift for your mates!

I remember Julie from the box and I heard her on LBC chatting about this book so I thought, "sounds like good fun, I'll get that as a present for a friend". :-)
To be fair to La Peasgood, in the LBC interview, she did say that she wasn't a Sexpert, so I wasn't expecting an authoritative guide to sex, however, I opened up the book to have a sneaky peak and bang, before I knew it, I was half way through. It's full of fascinating, interesting and very useful information, all nicely laced with some penetrating humour and some very funny complimentary cartoons; I particularly liked the one with the dogs looking in on their owners shenanigans.
Sadly, my copy was looking a little dog-eared after having had a certain amount of thumbing, so, I had to buy another copy for my friend. Doh!
I'm no sexpert, but I am a little more expert than I was. Don't believe me? I guess you'll just have to ask my friend.

The great thing about this informative book is that you get the strong feeling that the author Julie Peasgood has probably tried all the tips out herself. Or if she hasn't she "knows someone who
has"! One of her great strengths with this book is that she has made the interesting stuff fun and the fun stuff interesting. I can see it being expanded for its re-run edition, when the possible missing chapters (the benefits of pornography and group action etc) are included and I look forward to the pictorial, pop-up version. Thanks Julie.

I Love this book, this book is must for anyone who wants to improve their sex lives but do not want to plough through a boring 'manual'. This book is fun to read with plenty of laugh
out loud moments, but still gives you lots of facts and tips on how to improve your sex life. It is a great book to take to bed with your partner to read together and of course to practice what you have learnt!
I would definitely recommend this book to anyone, in fact I have bought a copy for my daughter!!
