‘Of all the speakers we’ve had at Integra, Julie is the one we most enjoyed. Warm, engaging, friendly - and above all honest and funny. Julie makes you feel like you’ve known her forever. Her insight into the world of show business – and having worked with most of the stars we know and love - is entertaining and enlightening, but most of all you find out that behind the persona there is a strong, determined, inspirational lady.’

We were so pleased that once again Julie agreed to speak to our networking group Work Wise Women. This second appearance saw Julie delivering her top ten "motivational tips" for business, demonstrating how to succeed and maintain your profile and how to set your future goals. She backed up her tips with real life experiences from what continues to be her long and successful career in the media spotlight. Julie then hosted a fascinating quiz, aimed at team building for our women members in a fun and informal environment.

She really did us proud as expected, inspiring and motivating everyone that attended. Julie is a truly fabulous role model for professional women to aspire to, and we were honoured that she could share her warm hearted and uplifting experiences with our members.

I have worked with Julie on many projects and have found her to be one of the most professional facilitators that I have worked with. She adds an intelligent approach to the management of an audience, and has a visible touch of humour which you don't often find in such stressful arena - this enables her to control an audience easily.

Julie brings with her a down to earth approach when dealing with issues at all levels and is very rarely fazed as situations, timelines, schedules and scripts change. She is agile and adapts to change easily giving a very seamless performance no matter what the topic. Julie is also very easy to be with and to work with with exceptional attention to details and professionalism.

In a very short time Julie made her mark as the voice of the BMW Interactive Business Television network, combining her skills as a talented and professional presenter with the ability to communicate intimately with a discerning and, at times, demanding audience. There is little doubt she made a significant contribution in helping BMW UK develop a professional communication platform with its dealer network, and she built relationships with individuals from all departments at all levels. Her humour and ability to put everyone at ease made programme making easy and helped get the best from those who were least comfortable in front of the camera. She is an absolute joy to work with and her enthusiasm is infectious!

As a Celebrity Manager in the third sector I am always looking for high profile supporters to attend events. Julie Peasgood is someone who I often call on to host big gala evenings, from celebrity quiz nights to large corporate dinners and fundraisers. I am always delighted when she accepts my invitation.

Julie has that wonderful ability to make the guests feel at home and comfortable as soon as she takes to the stage. She is funny, always on message and knows exactly when to steer the evening along if the event is over running.

She has all the skills to ensure the success of the function as she is able to lead auctons, encourage raffle ticket purchases and entice people to dig deep into their pockets when the time is right.

She always approaches each event with total professionalism and gives 100% of her energy and focus on whatever it is she is hosting. She really does light up the room with her infectious smile and great sense of humour.

I would recommend her for any event that required a confident host as you will be in capable and caring hands.

One of the most extraordinary things about working with Julie is watching the people she's interviewing all fall in love with her. I would like a pound please for every time I have had an interviewee express how nervous they are, only to watch every shred of their nerves melt away the moment they meet Julie. She's a very calming presence, and people just naturally open up to her. This is of course a godsend to any film maker; for not only do interviewees feel able to discuss with Julie sometimes the most private and sensitive aspects of their lives, but it means the interview's done and dusted with everything we need in the can, and we rarely lose time on an invariably tight schedule. Not only that, she's a damned fine presenter too. If needs be, she'll write all her own links, and pretty much nail them (without AutoQ!) on the first or second take. She's passionate, witty, quick to provide a cracking idea when all else has failed, and quite frankly just a joy to work with.

"Dear Julie, I enjoyed listening to your anecdotes in the after-dinner talk onboard the Oceana, particularly appreciating your honesty in the Q&A session. It was a very enjoyable evening and we had a good laugh listening to your many stories. It was a really good hour's entertainment. Having seen you on the television it was lovely to meet you in person and to find that you are the same bubbly character."

Christine Edwards from Birmingham

Julie has hosted and spoken at two of my ladies lunches. It can be very difficult to get the right person at these events - but Julie was perfect. She was very informative and funny and her shining personality certainly brightened the day - the feedback afterwards from my ladies was very positive and they all went away feeling like they'd had a great day out.

Dear Julie Peasgood,

I had the great pleasure of listening to three of your lectures recently, aboard the P&O cruise ship, Arcadia, and I just wanted you to know how much I appreciated your ability to communicate with your audience. So many celebrities are unapproachable stuffed shirts, but, you don't adopt the condescending manner adopted by so many well-known people, you just appear to settle in amongst your audience, as if you were having a chat with a group of friends. This stimulates good discussion, and plenty of audience participation, which, I believe, is the key to lecturing, particularly on cruise ships.

You have the gift of being able to communicate at all levels, and I envy you that ability.

Yours sincerely,

Mortimer

The role of the Quizmaster is key to the success of the event and involves hosting the event, keeping the attention of the audience and introducing fellow celebrity hosts. Julie has always done this with exceptional professionalism and charm. She always goes the extra mile to ensure the evening is a complete triumph and the audience never fails to warm to her presence. As an Events Organiser, she's an absolute pleasure to work with, in the preparation, leading up to the event and of course on the night itself.
